This is what Acting Mayor Ruderic C. Marzo ordered the Diyandi Executive Management Board for the DIYANDI festival which Iligan will celebrate during the month of September.
The city Mayor tasked the board to involve all event organizers and initiate their respective events to give entertainment and festivities to the people of Iligan and to its tourists.
Aside from the customary sports events, religious activities and socio-cultural activities, Mayor Marzo also encourage event organizers to stage and initiate new special events which will promote the unique culture and traits of Iliganons.
