Iligan City, PHILIPPINES – Taekwondo trainees from all over the world especially Philippines were invited to the 2015 Chosun University International Taekwondo Academy last July 17-24,2015 in Gwang-Ju, Republic of Korea.
There were seventeen(17) taekwondo trainees chosen to represent our country and one of them is our very own Iligan taekwondo couach Mr. Rafael Pondoc. Mr. Pondoc got the third(3rd) place in the event entitled 2015 Chosun University Presidential International Poomsae Taekwondo Championship on July 19,2015 in the place described above. Also, he was given recognition and appreciation for his contribution to the success of the said event.
The award was given by Suh, Chae-Hong, Acting President, and Organizing Committee of the 2015 Chosun University International Taekwondo Academy.
This invitation is to create a field of global harmony where capability is improved and the spirit of taekwondo is distributed through instruction by international champions and high rank masters. - From iligan.gov.ph
